1. Who processes your data

PANELITE SA – Division Catland, Avenue du Champ de Blé 23, 1780 Wemmel, BE 0462.503.522, is the controller of the personal data collected on catland.be.

2. What data we collect, and why

• "Groups" or "Schools" forms: name of the organisation, name of the contact person, email address, telephone number, preferred date and number of participants, so that we can process your request and send you a proposal.
• The same forms: billing name, address and VAT number, so that we can issue the invoice for the visit.
• Online ticketing: booking and payment data, so that we can issue your ticket and welcome you on the day.
• Escape game session bookings: name, email address and telephone number of the person making the booking, so that we can follow up on the session: to contact you about lost property, an incident during the game, or the return of game equipment lent to you.

The forms for schools collect no data about pupils: we only ask for the number of participants.

3. Legal basis

This data is processed for the performance of the contract you enter into with Catland, or to respond to the request you send us.

Contact details kept after an escape game session are retained on the basis of our legitimate interest in following up on sessions and ensuring the return of game equipment lent to participants.

4. How long we keep it

• Requests that did not lead to a booking: three years from the last exchange.
• Requests that led to a booking: seven years, as the documents become accounting records.
• Contact details relating to an escape game session : one month from the date of the session, after which they are deleted. If lost property, an incident or the return of equipment is still outstanding at that point, they are kept until the matter is resolved. After one month, only the billing documents mentioned above are kept.

At the end of these periods, the corresponding messages and files are deleted, including from the info@catland.be mailbox.

5. Who else has access to it

Your data is never sold, rented out or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.

It is processed by the technical service providers strictly necessary for the operation of the website and the ticketing system: the website host (Webflow, Inc.) and the ticketing platform (Bokun). As the website is hosted by a company established in the United States, your data may be processed there under the safeguards provided for by European regulations (GDPR).

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, and to restrict or object to its processing. You can exercise these rights at any time by writing to info@catland.be.

If you believe that your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (Belgium).
