1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms and conditions govern the sale of admission tickets, activities and gift cards for the Catland museum, operated by PANELITE SA – Division Catland, Edingsesteenweg 208, 1730 Asse, BE 0462.503.522 (hereinafter "Catland").

Any booking implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions. The customer expressly accepts them by ticking the box provided for this purpose before confirming their order.

2. Booking

Admission to Catland is by booking only, as places are limited. Bookings are made online on the official Catland website or, subject to availability, at the museum reception.

Each ticket is dated and gives access to the full Catland experience on the date shown: the museum and the cat park.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros, including all taxes. The applicable prices are those published on the website's Tickets page at the time of booking.

Payment is made online at the time of booking, using the payment methods offered by the ticketing platform. The order is final once payment has been confirmed.

4. No right of withdrawal, refund or exchange

Tickets give access to a leisure activity on a specific date. Accordingly, the right of withdrawal granted to consumers for distance purchases does not apply.

Consequently, and unless otherwise provided in Article 5:

  • tickets are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled;
  • they can neither be exchanged nor moved to another date;
  • a ticket not used on the scheduled date is forfeited, with no refund or credit note.

It is the customer's responsibility to check the date of their booking before confirming their order.

5. Museum closure and force majeure

If Catland is unable to welcome visitors on the booked date because of force majeure, a public health measure, safety reasons or reasons relating to the welfare of the animals, Catland will offer the customer, at their choice, either a new date for their visit or a refund of their ticket.

This situation does not give rise to any other compensation.

6. Groups and school trips

Group visits and school trips require a prior request using the form provided on the website, followed by written confirmation from Catland specifying the date, time, package and price.

No deposit is required. The provisions of Article 4 apply to these bookings, subject to any specific conditions agreed in writing.

7. Escape game

The escape game is an add-on activity to the visit. It can only be booked together with a Catland admission ticket for the same date. It lasts 60 minutes.

8. Gift cards

Gift cards are valid for three years from the date of purchase. After this period, they can no longer be used and will not be refunded.

A gift card can be exchanged for a booking, subject to availability and to these terms and conditions. It is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

9. Access and visitor rules

Access to the museum and the cat park is subject to compliance with the rules displayed on site, which are designed to protect the welfare of the animals and the safety of visitors. In particular:

  • it is not possible to bring your own pet onto the museum premises;
  • it is not possible to hand over, leave or adopt a cat on site;
  • part of the park is reserved for the cats and is not open to the public;
  • the cats approach visitors if they wish to: no interaction is ever forced on them.

Catland reserves the right to refuse entry to, or to end the visit of, without refund, anyone whose behaviour endangers the safety of visitors or the welfare of the animals.

10. Complaints

Any complaint may be sent to info@catland.be. Catland undertakes to respond within a reasonable time.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of the judicial district in which PANELITE SA has its registered office shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory rules protecting consumers.
